  • What types of interns can I hire through Trylrun?

We connect you with standout undergrads and MBAs eager to contribute in business development, market research, or marketing roles.

  • How does sourcing work?

We recruit, vet, and screen candidates from our partner universities. You’ll receive short video interviews and can send offers directly through Trylrun.

  • What is the Trylrun Fee?

The Trylrun Fee is $449 per accepted intern. You’re only charged when an offer is accepted.

  • What’s included in the Trylrun Fee?

Your payment covers:

  • End-to-end sourcing and screening

  • Offer management and onboarding support

  • A guided internship structure with weekly deliverables

  • A centralized portal for communication and tracking

  • Can I create a custom internship program?

Yes. You can build off one of our structured tracks, or we’ll help you design a custom version that fits your goals.

  • Do I need to pay my intern(s)?

Internships on Trylrun can be either paid or for academic credit. You’ll select your compensation model when creating your internship.

  • Paid internships: You’ll set an hourly rate and handle payment directly with your intern.

  • Academic credit internships: These must be pre-approved by a partner university before being posted.

  • Does Trylrun handle intern payment or payroll?

No. If your internship is paid, your company manages all payroll and payment logistics directly with the intern.

  • Can I offer an unpaid internship for academic credit?

Yes — but the program must be approved by a university partner before being listed. Students must also enroll in a credit-bearing course at their university before accepting your offer.

  • How much time will I need to commit?

Most hosts spend 1–3 hours per week supporting their intern. Our structured format is designed to maximize results while minimizing lift.

  • Can I host more than one intern?

Absolutely. Many companies bring on multiple interns, either for the same team or across projects.

  • What if an intern isn’t a good fit?

Internships can be ended at your discretion. If issues arise, we’ll work with you to troubleshoot and adjust.

  • Can I hire an intern full-time afterward?

Yes — we love when that happens.

  • Is the Trylrun Fee refundable?

Fees are generally non-refundable once an offer is accepted. If you believe an exception applies, reach out to support@trylrun.com.

  • What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept all major credit and debit cards.

  • Do interns sign an NDA or agreement?

Yes. We provide standard templates for NDAs and internship agreements you can adapt to your needs. We recommend reviewing them with your legal advisor.

  • Is Trylrun a staffing agency or job board?

Neither. We’re a guided internship platform that blends structure, support, and sourcing to make internships simple and impactful. Companies remain the employer of record for their interns.

  • Can I use Trylrun outside the U.S.?

Not yet — our platform is currently built for U.S.-based companies, universities, and students.
